Consecration Prayer

At the first meeting, we consecrated the group to Jesus through Mary.  At every meeting we renew that consecration by saying the consecration prayer and asking Mary to continue to guide and bless our group. Members are encouraged to print and/or memorize the prayer.

Christ-Centered

It may be a short moment of prayer together at the mall. It might be putting Jesus stickers on pumpkins, talking about how an apple is like the trinity, or it might be an entire party themed around the Rosary. Every meeting must take a moment for God through prayer or activity.

Follow the Teaching of the Catholic Church

We love and accept all Catholic mothers at every stage of their journey! That means that we have opportunities to teach one another about our faith and hold one another accountable. This is a beautiful gift! If there is ever a time that someone is discussing or promoting something that is against Catholic teaching, members are asked to make known to the group - very kindly and with love - what the Catholic Church teaches regarding the topic. Each member has a responsibility to ensure everyone present is educated on the Catholic Church’s teachings. Additionally, members are always encouraged to ask questions about their faith. We are all here to learn and grow in faith together.

Attending Meetups in Homes

Help your host minimize housework! Please help your children remove shoes upon entering the house and clean up toys at the end of each visit.
Your children should eat only in the kitchen. Make sure to clean their hands and where they ate.
We understand if you need to excuse yourself to help your child. Please don't be afraid to ask for help from other moms - baby holding, etc. We're all moms who want to help!
As a courtesy to other families, please do not bring a child with a fever over 100F, green/yellow mucus, "phlegmy" or persistent cough, or diarrhea or vomiting in the past 24 hours. If your child has started antibiotics, please allow 24 hours before attending an event.

Inviting/Welcoming Others

When new members join the group, existing members are encouraged to make an effort to be welcoming and inclusive.  This may include a brief welcome note when a member joins, a follow-up message after a first meeting, or an exchange of contact information. We are aware that coming to a new group for the first time can be intimidating, so we strive to let new members know they are welcomed and valued.

Book Studies

Participating in a book study provides the opportunity for spiritual companionship, growth, and accountability. To foster this in your group, please be attentive to materials presented and group discussion. Save socializing until the study portion of each visit is concluded.

Have Fun

We have been given an incredible opportunity to share this journey with other Catholic mothers. We embrace this time to grow in faith and help our children do the same.
